The Bedrock of Excellent Communication: Building Solid Objectives/Goals for Your Next Public Relations Campaign
Building a solid, successful public relations campaign is driven by how well you spell out your objectives and goals for the project. It may seem like a simple process, but it takes research and analysis plus defined outcomes to build objectives that matter. We'll discuss the process and why it's important for all practitioners -- new and seasoned -- to use objectives as the bedrock for every campaign.
About the speaker:
Angela Eden, APR is an adjunct instructor at Drury University and College of the Ozarks and a part time content strategist for Kids Directory Magazine. She spent 23 years as a communication specialist with the Missouri Department of Transportation in Springfield, informing the public about southwest Missouri road projects. She is a graduate of Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in Communication and a master's degree in Public Administration. She earned her accreditation in public relations in 2017. When not in the classroom or behind the computer, she and her husband raise beef cattle on their century farm near Seymour, Mo.
